RESIDENTS can now make an appointment at any time to use one of the four recycling centres in the county.
By visiting the council’s website, residents can make an appointment at any time and choose a slot that’s convenient to them for the following seven days. However, at this time residents are still only be able to visit a HWRC once a month (for example, if residents book an appointment for the 28th May they won’t be able to book another appointment until 28th June.)
The change comes into place from Tuesday, June 2.
Executive board member responsible for environment, Cllr Hazel Evans said: “We’d like to thank residents for supporting us whilst we have re-introduced this service. We continue to listen to your feedback and will carry on reviewing the situation. Please keep checking the website or council Facebook and Twitter feeds for updated information.”
There is still availability at all the HWRC sites if you need to make an essential visit.
