SHADOW Secretary of State for Wales Nia Griffith MP says that any return to school for children will require very careful planning.
The Llanelli MP was speaking to Llanelli Online via a video conference today, Thursday (May 7).
Speaking about the possibility of children returning to school as has happened in Germany the MP said that before that could happen there needed to be careful planning and discussion as to how that would work, not least the issue of children’s safety when they will be using a multitude of equipment within the school.
The MP also spoke about the rise in usage of food-banks and predicted that they would be in use for some time to come even after restrictions had been lifted.
Other issues discussed included the shortage of PPE in Wales and the need to look at manufacturing in Wales as a means to providing our own equipment should the crisis continue.
