Police attended a road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 7.55am on Wednesday (Nov 29) on the B4309 road from Five Roads to Furnace.
A blue Volkswagon Polo left the road and overturned into a field. The Welsh AmbulanceService also attended the scene.
A Welsh Ambulance spokesperson said: “We were called at approximately 7.50am on Wednesday 29 November to reports of a road traffic collision between Furnace and Five Roads, Carmarthenshire.
“We sent a crew in an emergency ambulance and a man was taken to Glangwili General Hospital.”
The car remained in the field for a number of days before it was eventually removed by a recovery vehicle.
There have been a number of accidents along the B4309 this year whereby vehicles have left the road.
