Burry Port hit magic number against Felinfoel

BURRY Port reserves hosted Felinfoel Reserves on Saturday (Sep 15).

The home team got off to a flying start with Jamie Dunleavy making a great strike and scoring within ten minutes.

Burry Port continued to dominate the game and the goals kept coming, including a penalty taken by Jamie Philips and Mark Lewis scoring with a great header from a corner.

Felinfoel showed spirit and managed to come back into the game with a lot of chances going begging or else saved by the home side’s keeper 16-year-old Ashley Powell. The score was 5-0 at half time.

The second half was a much tighter affair with Felinfoel playing some excellent football and getting two goals in the process.

It was Burry Port who reached the magic number finishing the game as victors by seven goals to 2.
