BURRY Port Co-op have given a generous donation to the Burry Port bowls club following vandalism at the club, which wrecked the bowling green.
Store Manager Nathan Evans said: “It was great to be able to present the Burry Port Bowls Club with a £250 community donation fund.
“At the start of lockdown vandals had wrecked the playing area, the £250 will be used to buy CCTV to stop this from happening again.
“The club’s members look after the playing area in their own time, with their own equipment. They are a fantastic bunch of people who thoroughly deserve the cheque.
“Thank you John James for approaching The Co-op & thank-you for Byron Williams for taking the pictures.”
