Bounty of medals for Swansea Aquatics at Swim Wales Legends meet

SWANSEA Aquatics have taken a bounty of medals at the Swim Wales Legends meet in the Wales National Pool held on the 15th and 16th of September.

The young guns put in a excellent display early on in the season picking up an astonishing 35 golds, 32 silvers and 27 bronze medals.

Sam Jones Assistant Head Coach said: “The meet was early in the season and it was the first chance for swimmers to focus their skills under pressure in competition. The swimmers not only showed good skills across the two day meet but there were also lifetime best times from most of our inspiring swimmers.”

The coach went on to say that the club is going from strength to strength with increasing membership inspired by the recent commonwealth success from senior swimmers Dan Jervis and Alys Thomas.
