HUNDREDS of brave (or bonkers) people gathered at Cefn Sidan beach in Pembrey to take part in the annual Boxing Day Walrus Dip today, Wednesday (Dec 26).
The temperature was slightly warmer than in previous years but it was still a cold one as the large crowd raced through the sand and into the sea at 11am.
The Walrus Dip takes place each year with participants raising money for a wide range of different causes.
Burry Port RNLI were in the sea to provide safety along with paramedics who were positioned on the sands.
For some, just running into ankle height was enough whilst others went for a good old swim.
