Carmarthenshire Media had a great morning presenting a brief workshop on how to make a press release to local businesses at The Beacon in Llanelli. The business networking event is part of a monthly programme of events hosted by The Best of Carmarthenshire
The aim of the workshop was to advise businesses on what makes a good press release and what newspapers are looking for and what they expect. Attendees constructed their own press releases complete with photographs, building on what they had learned during the morning. As a bonus each business will get a mention in the release in the next edition of The Llanelli Herald newspaper.
