THE recent run of bad weather has led the Carmarthenshire League back to college.
In an unprecedented move, the League have made the decision to play it’s Cup Semi Finals at the G3 pitch at Coleg Sir Gar in Llanelli.
League secretary Colin Jenkins told Llanelli Online: “Normally the semi-finals are played on Saturday’s at neutral grounds. The wet weather that we have experienced since the turn of the year has led to a mountain of postponements.
“In an effort to get the semi finals played in time for the finals to be played on the arranged dates at Stebonheath Park, we had no alternative but to organise the games on the new G3 pitch at Coleg Sir Gar. This should ensure that all the games will be completed on time as the all weather pitch will be playable in wet conditions.”
