A trolley cleaning machine, which kills 99% of bacteria is being trialled on trolleys at ASDA.
The supermarket’s store in Morley will be testing the new machine which uses electrostatically charged mist to cover the trolleys in anti-microbial liquid.
The technology has been developed by WasteCare group.
The cleansing can be used for multiple trolleys at a time and cleans within 15 seconds.
