A 22-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of illegal drugs following a road traffic accident involving one vehicle on the B4309 near Pontyates. The silver car could be seen overturned in the hedgerow on the road on Tuesday (May 16).
Llanelli Online received the following statement from Dyfed-Powys Police:
“Dyfed-Powys Police attended a road traffic collision involving one vehicle, on the B4309 near Meinciau, Pontyates, at around 8:20am yesterday [Tuesday 16 May 2017]. A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of illegal drugs. He has been released under investigation, pending further police enquiries. No injuries were reported.”
