Armed Police raid property in Llangennech

There is an ongoing police incident at Hendre Park in Llangennech.

A bystander contacted Llanelli Online and described the scene as it unfolded. The man who did not wish to be identified said: “At 11:30 am armed police arrived at our road. The road has been sealed off. A number of armed units were present. I would say at least 5 response vehicles.  They were armed with SA8’s, small fire arms and what looked like stun grenades.

“They (umarked vehicles) passed me on the road at high speed driving side by side. When they arrived they forced entry into the property and began shouting and pointing guns. They had tasers as well.

“They forced entry into a house and have taken one man away.”
