Arena League success for Swansea Aquatics swimmers

THE City of Swansea Aquatics (C.S.A) travelled to Horfield in Bristol for round 2 of the western arena league on Monday (Nov 10).

The club took on Plymouth Leander, Bristol Henleaze, City of Bristol (A), Swindon (A) and Bridgend County Swim Squad. C.S.A was going in with high hopes after a great first round in Newport.

The Team faced tough competition but was ready for anything. The city of Swansea Aquatics put in a great performance. Head coach Hayley Baker said: “It has been another great round for the Swansea Aquatics arena league team. We came a comfortable 2nd with an amazing show of team spirit, holding their skill whilst racing fast.”

Hayley went on to say: “Thank you to the coaches, officials and parents who came and supported.”

The team finished 2nd beyond Plymouth Leander with a close points tally throughout the competition. The points tally followed Plymouth Leander 268 points, Swansea Aquatics 217, Bristol Henleaze 164, City of Bristol 154, Swindon 139 and Bridgend County Swim Squad 98.
