Llanelli Online reported on an incident at Aldis in Llanelli on Thursday (Aug 31) where armed police were seen in pursuit of an individual.
Following a request for information from Dyfed-Powys Police a spokesperson said: “Police were called to an incident at Park Street, Llanelli, on Thursday, August 31, where a man was reported to be in possession of a knife.
“28-year-old Patrick Lewis was located in Swanfield Place and was arrested by officers at the scene. He was later charged with affray and possessing a bladed / pointed article in public. He was remanded to appear at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, September 2.”
