Reports are coming in of a serious crash involving two vehicles on the A484 in Burry Port on Gwscwm Road. It is believed that the crash happened at around 17:44 this evening, Sunday (Jul 16). Two cars collided and an eye witness told Llanelli Online that one car had crashed into a wall, which was demolished following the impact.
The eye witness told Llanelli Online that it took 50 minutes for the ambulance service to arrive. They said that the Second ambulance arrived at 7:10 It is believed that up to 6 people were involved in the accident, one having to be cut free from a vehicle. The Fire, police and ambulance service were in attendance. The road remained closed for some time, however a local resident has updated us and said that the road is now open again.
