Guinness PRO14 Final Preview – Leinster Rugby v Scarlets

Guinness PRO14 Final Preview – Leinster Rugby v Scarlets

Venue of choice: Dublin’s Aviva Stadium

LEINSTER Rugby will face defending champions Scarlets in the 2018 Guinness PRO14 Final on Saturday, May 26 at 18:00.

There is a huge amount at stake for both teams.

Scarlets are aiming to become only the second back-to-back champions of the competition while Leinster Rugby can become the first team from the Championship to complete a European and domestic double after their recent Champions Cup win.

Victory for Leinster Rugby would also deliver their fifth title, a result which would elevate them above Ospreys Rugby (four) as the team with the most Championship crowns.

The Final will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Action (Ch 407) with coverage starting from 17:30. TG4 will be the secondary broadcaster in Ireland while S4C will be the secondary broadcaster in Wales.

Two coin tosses took place involving all Semi-Finalists ahead of last weekend’s games, both coin tosses went in favour of the winner from the Leinster Rugby and Munster Rugby Semi-Final.

As a result, Leinster Rugby will have home designation, home dressing room and choice of playing strip.

However, because there is a natural clash both Leinster Rugby (blue) and Scarlets (red) will be able to wear their home Playing Strips.
