200 cannabis plants seized at Swansea Rd property

Growing problem: Cannabis farming in Llanelli

Dyfed-Powys Police has today (Thursday, 12 October) seized approximately 200 cannabis plants from a house at Swansea Road, Llanelli.

The plants, along with lighting and growing equipment, were discovered during a search warrant by Carmarthenshire drugs team and Llanelli Neighbourhood Policing Team at the house.

A male has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the production of a class B drug and remains in police custody.

Officers are investigating the discovery; anyone with information about drugs use is asked to report it to Llanelli Police Station, or by calling 101.
