In the latest statement released this evening Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed that a 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of Fiona Scourfield. The statement read:
“Dyfed-Powys Police has tonight (March 8 2018) charged a 16-year-old boy with the murder of Fiona Scourfield. The 54-year-old lady was found dead at a property near St Clears on Tuesday, March 6.
“He has been remanded in custody to appear at Llanelli Magistrates’ Courts on Friday, March 9.
“No one else is wanted in connection with the incident.
“The local community is thanked for its understanding and support during this investigation.
“Next of kin continue to be supported by specially trained officers.”
