Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the murder of a female whose body was found at a property in the St Clears area.
In a statement issued today the force said:
“Police were called to the property at approximately 5.47pm on Tuesday 6th March 2018.
“A 16 year old male has been arrested on suspicion of murder and currently remains in police custody. Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
“Next of kin have been advised and are being supported by specialist officers.
“H.M. Coroner has been informed.
“An incident room has been set up at Carmarthen Police Station.”
