LLANELLI police seized a cocktail of drugs from a property in the town as part of their #TotalFocus on tackling crimes that impact vulnerable people.
An intelligence-led Misuse of Drugs warrant was carried out at Gilbert Crescent yesterday lunch time (Tuesday, 10 October 2017).
Around 240 grams of cocaine, with a street value of around £12,000, nine grams of cannabis, and a small quantity of Valium were seized as a result.
A 60-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intention to supply a controlled substance and remains under police investigation.
A man and a woman, who were at the house when police arrived, have been interviewed by officers. As a result a 37-year-old woman has been reported for summons to court to be charged with possession of a class B and class C drug, and a 40-year-old man has been reported for summons to court to be charged with possession of a class B drug.
Police officers, PCSOs, special constables and multi-agency partners yesterday worked with #TotalFocus on tackling the crimes that are impacting on vulnerable people within communities. In addition, they offered tailored support for victims and witnesses of crime to help them through their experience.
Communities saw an increased police presence in and around Llanelli, yesterday, as they executed arrest warrants, undertook spot checks on identified individuals, properties and businesses and provide practical and emotional support to victims and witnesses of crime.
