THE closing date for the Mudiad Meithrin’s Awards Ceremony is Tuesday (May 1).

Mudiad Meithrin has already received more than 100 nominations for staff and volunteers in Cylchoedd Meithrin, Cylchoedd Ti a Fi and Day Nurseries for awards in 11 categories.

AMERICAN Blues duo 'Swampcandy' will be performing at the Killkenny Cat in Llanelli on Wednesday (April 18).

You can get your items fixed at the Repair Cafe

HAVE you got something that's broken and you don't know how to fix it?

The Repair Cafe is the place to go.

They meet at the Llanelli Library on the second Saturday of every month from 10am to 1pm.

You can go along with any broken item wether it's an electrical device, clothing or a tyre puncture and the volunteers can help you.

Winter Wellbeing Workshops in March

GET the chance to go on a creative journey for free in March.

Carmarthenshire Museums has organised Winter Wellbeing Workshops in Parc Howard from March 15-18.

The workshops, taken by artists Cheryl Beer and Louise Bird, will draw participants on a creative journey at their own pace, to discover, explore and make.

Organised to celebrate National Museums and Wellbeing Week, the Winter Wellbeing Workshops are free of charge, open to all and no previous experience is necessary.


Chinese New Year celebrations mark charity’s official launch

A newly formed Swansea based charity will announce its official launch at Swansea’s National Waterfront Museum,to coincide with a celebration of the Chinese New Year from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 11th February.

The Chinese in Wales Association (CIWA) aims to make a positive difference to the lives of ethnic Chinese residents in Wales and has organised multiple events to mark the annual cultural celebration of Chinese New Year.
