Toxic algae warning at North Dock

THE public have been warned of potential risks to health following the discovery of 'toxic algae' at the North Dock in Llanelli.

A notice posted on the website of the Pembrey Country Park state:

The water in North Dock, Llanelli has been contaminated by toxic algae which are potentially harmful to health.

These algae may cause illness in both humans and animals.

You are advised:

• Not to swim in the water

Stena Line employees take on 3 Loch Challenge in aid of Mercy Ships

TWENTY-TWO Stena Line employees from Wales are planning to take on a mammoth challenge this week starting on the 7th April, by walking 34 miles around three lochs in Scotland - Loch Lomond, The Gareloch and Loch Long.
