Free support for women in Llanelli moving forward after breast cancer

LEADING breast cancer charity Breast Cancer Care is running a free course in Llanelli to help women live life beyond breast cancer with confidence.

LLANGENNECH defeated Felinfoel by 7 wickets to claim the local derby bragging rights on Saturday (May 5).

With doubts beforehand on whether the match would go ahead, the start was delayed by nearly two hours due to the poor conditions of the outfield in Llangennech Park.

COUNCILLOR Bill Thomas is urging the residents of Felinfoel to look after their new park and play area in the village. His appeal comes after a series of complaints that some people using the play area have already begun to spoil it by smashing and discarding glass bottles before the park is even officially opened.

Unconfirmed reports are coming in of armed police attending an incident at Maes Golau in Felinfoel Llanelli this evening, Thursday (Feb 22).

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Felinfoel on 16th September 2017.

The incident occurred outside Felinfoel Rugby Club, a 23-year-old man was reported to have been punched by an unknown person, causing him to fall over. He suffered a fractured skull.

A 22-year-old Llanelli man has been jailed following two assaults and criminal damage.

A call was received at 9.30pm on Sunday, August 13 reporting that two people had assaulted in Felinfoel, and a car had been damaged.
