Town centre Cultural Day

HEAD on down to Llanelli town centre this Saturday (Mar 24) for the 2018 Cultural Day.

There will be plenty of activities and fun for all the family including the Royal British Legion Brass Band and an opportunity to meet dragons.

THERE was no need to run too far to join the circus as the circus came to Llanelli Town Centre on Wednesday (Feb 21).

Ymlaen Llanelli's Mandy Jenkins and her team had somehow attracted a whole host of circus folk to set up camp smack bang in the middle of town and by 12 midday a circle had formed which contained jugglers, balloon modellers, face painters, stilt walkers and a magician.

Llangennech’s Cracking Christmas Parade

THE annual Llangennech Christmas Fair and Parade took place on Saturday (Dec 9) and attracted hundreds of people to the village for festive family fun.

The day's proceedings began at 2pm, with activities catering for both the children and the adults. For the elders there were craft stalls and a live brass band filling the Community Centre with Christmas cheer.
