Plans for 50th Pontarddulais and Hendy Carnival Parade well underway

PLANNING for this years Pontarddulais and Hendy Carnival is well underway with 11 members of the committee meeting to discuss plans for the event.

The carnival will take place on Saturday (Jun 23) at Coed Bach Park.

This year will be the 50th parade and there will be lots of celebrations and activities on the field for family and friends.

The carnival Parade will leave Hendy at 2pm and will arrive at Coed Bach Park at 3pm

Bont Carnival Committee awarded £4,000 from Tesco

Pontarddulais Carnival Committee have received a whopping £4,000 from Tesco in Pontarddulais via their carrier bag fund.

Every two months Tesco offer three community groups the opportunity to win funds, and the Tesco funding scheme in Pontarddulais has already given  £42,000 to local groups since March 2017.

Defibrillators for Burry Port after community cash donations

COMMUNITY spirit is alive and well in Burry Port with residents digging deep to help fund much needed equipment, which could help save lives. The Smallest Biggest Carnival in Wales

Llansaint is a tiny Welsh village nestled on top of a hill overlooking the Gower coastline from Carmarthenshire. It may not have a large population but it has a big hearted community.
