Police appeal following damage caused to vehicles at Trostre Car Sales

POLICE at Dyfed-Powys are appealing for information following damage caused to two parked vehicles at the rear of Trostre Car Sales in Parc Trostre over the weekend of 19-23rd January 2018.

Wing mirrors were kicked and smashed during the incident which is believed to have happened over a period of a few days.

Any persons with information are urged to contact Dyfed-Powys Police on 101 quoting reference number 064 of 23/1/2018.

Late Tumble try secures derby victory at Ponty

A late try saw Tumble edge out Pontyberem 26-21 in a tight local derby at Pontyberem Park.

It was the home side who started strongly, with two tries from captain Adrian Williams giving them a 15-7 lead at half-time.

However three second half tries were enough for the visitors to bank a bonus-point win in muddy conditions in front of a large vocal crowd.

Pontyberem did get a losing bonus point, their next match is at home against St Clears RFC.

Homelessness is on the rise in Llanelli. Despite this the County Council statistics claim that there are no homeless people in Carmarthenshire. We have been documenting the homeless in Llanelli for the last year. We have attended a soup station at Y Lle and We have visited the Salvation Army Citadel. Scarlets claim victory over Ospreys with injury time try

FOURTEEN-MAN Scarlets claimed the double over the their West Wales rivals Ospreys with an injury time try scored by Josh Macleod on boxing day.

Llangammarch Wells Latest Update: 5th body identified as 6-year-old boy Patch Raine

POLICE have issued an update on the fatal fire that occurred in Llangammarch Wells on 30th October.

Detective Chief Inspector Martin Slevin of Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Sadly I can confirm that a fifth body, recovered from the scene, has now been positively identified as 6 year old Patch Raine.
