Swansea Railway Station was evacuated today, Friday (Oct 5)  following an ‘incident’  this morning at approx 10.30 which reportedly involved armed police.

Unconfirmed reports state that the station was evacuated with  trains being diverted or held at key railway stations as police dealt with the incident.

One man who did not wish to be named said that  he saw a number of armed police at the station.

British Transport Police tweeted that there was an incident and that Dyfed-Powys Police were dealing with it.

The station has since been reopened but we have been informed that there are possible delays of up to twenty minutes.
