DETECTIVES leading an investigation in to spates of high-value burglaries across Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot are appealing to trace the owners of some of the items recovered during a recent operation.

Officers raided 16 addresses in Swansea on Tuesday as part of Operation Timmia, arresting six people on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary. All currently remain in custody.

A seventh person was arrested the following day and has since been released on bail with stringent conditions.

Enquiries to locate four suspects – Daniel Casey, 27; Terrence Casey, 19; Michael Casey, 18; and Patrick Joyce, 20 – are also ongoing.

A fifth suspect, Christopher Harty, 18, is now also being sought by South Wales Police.

As well seizing caravans believed to have been stolen, officers also recovered large amounts of cash and jewellery. Searches at some of the locations are ongoing.

Officers are now keen to trace the rightful owners of items which include watches and rings.
