ROADS policing officers safely stopped a suspect in his car using pre-emptive tactics yesterday, Monday (Oct 1).
The incident happened in the Swiss Valley area of Llanelli.
The suspect was spotted in Llanelli by officers on patrol. He had previously failed to stop for officers so pre-emptive tactics were authorised and used to safely stop the vehicle causing no injury or damage to any person or vehicle.
A 22-year-old man was voluntary interviewed by police and reported for the offences of driving without insurance and driving while disqualified. His car was seized.
PC Alex Jones said on Twitter: “Great spot by PC692, and a team effort to get the vehicle stopped with a pre-emptive TPAC.
“No damage, no injuries, that’s how it’s done.”
