DYFED-Powys Police is appealing for information following two assaults in Llanelli on Saturday, December 9.

The first took place in the Apple Tree pub on Station Road at 9.40pm, with a second occurring on the junction of Ropewalk Road and School Road in Morfa at around 10.30pm.

A 21-year-old man was left with cuts and bruises following the second assault.

Police believe the two incidents are connected and have arrested two people – a 30-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman – on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm. They have been released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out.
