We are pleased to welcome our new columnist Juliet Phillips-James (Judge Jules). Juliet will be providing her own unique take on life through the magnifying glass peculiar to the legal fraternity. We will let Juliet introduce herself to you.
I am Juliet Phillips-James and at 34 I am one of the youngest female directors in legal practice in South Wales. I became a director of Gomer Williams solicitors six years ago, having spent the previous six years training and qualifying to become solicitor.
The practice is one of the oldest in South Wales having been in operation for nearly 100 years. We offer a wide range of services from our two offices in Llanelli including divorce, children matters, buying and selling of houses, lasting powers of attorney and Wills to name but a few.
I have been a reader of Llanelli Online since last year and felt it would be an ideal platform to reach the people of Llanelli to provide informative and interesting information relating to day to day issues from a solicitor’s perspective.
NB ‘Judge Jules’ is not a real judge and it is not a legal advice column. It is a casual and personal take on life and all views expressed are those of the author.
