IT HAS been ten years since the first International Transgender Day of Visibility, which takes place each year on 31 March.
Annabelle Hampton is a trans woman. Having struggled with life as a trans person since she was a young child Annabelle took a variety of paths in order to try and express her feelings and emotions, even training to become a psychiatric nurse in the hope of finding out more about trans people.
It has taken Annabelle most of her life to finally do what was almost impossible in previous generations. To enjoy life as a trans woman, helping others through her art.
The Carmarthenshire Times interviewed Annabelle in a gallery at the Tea Traders in Carmarthen.
