A group of walkers who have been zig zagging their way across Wales on the Great Big Walk paid a visit to Llanelli today, Monday (Jun 12). There are ten walkers taking part walking 200+ miles in 21 days. During the stop they visited Y Lle and met the people behind a range of community projects in Llanelli including Incredible Edibles and Llanelli Community Partnership. The walkers were highlighting the work of ‘ordinary people’ who are going the extra mile to bring people together.
That is exactly what happens at Y Lle where a number of groups meet including a soup kitchen, a youth group and Incredible Edibles.
After having foot massages, breakfast and a tour of Y Lle the team headed for Swansea where they were meeting up with another community organisation.
