AS one door closes another opens so they say. That is exactly what is happening on the High Street in Pontarddulais as new businesses replace old. The new kids on the High Street in Pontarddulais happen to be one of Llanelli’s oldest law firms Gomer Williams Solicitors.
The company is going from strength to strength and the latest acquisition is an office right in the heart of the village, which itself is rapidly developing into a town. The Bont or Wedding City as some call it is definitely a destination for those getting married and now they can sort out any legal issues with a visit to the new offices of Gomer Williams Solicitors at no 59 St Teilo Street.
Llanelli Online were invited along for the official opening today, Thursday (May 10) and we were in some pretty fine company as former Wales Rugby Union player Ian Gough turned up as a special guest.
Invites had also been sent out to the business owners in the village and many turned up for a complimentary glass of Prosecco and nibbles.
The light and spacious office is a welcoming space with quirky legal related items and some rather chique furniture.
The success of any business is not about the tables and chairs although they help. It is about the people and Gomer Williams has no worries in that department as could be seen from the warm welcome they offered to those who popped in to have a traditional Welsh nose around.
It would be remiss of us not to have pointed our cameras in a few corners to show you just what it was all about. You can watch our video here:
