A call was received at 9.30pm on Sunday, August 13 reporting that two people had assaulted in Felinfoel, and a car had been damaged.
David Luke Simon, of Danybanc, was arrested at the scene and later charged with two counts of assault by beating and criminal damage to a vehicle.
He appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 15 and was sentenced to an immediate term of imprisonment for 20 weeks.
Llanelli neighbourhood policing sergeant Justin Evans said: “A priority for Dyfed-Powys Police is keeping our communities safe and supporting victims.
“This case shows out commitment to tackling violent crime, and we are pleased with the swift work of officers in attending the scene, arresting and charging the perpetrator.
“Simon was jailed within two days of the offence being committed, and we hope this sends out a message about how seriously we take this type of crime.”
