West Wales Raiders optimistic about future for rugby league in West Wales

THE Big Welsh Derby at Stebonheath ended in defeat for the West Wales Raiders. It was a great spectacle to watch as the North Wales Crusaders put on a great attacking display of rugby league.

Head Coach John Ellis was not despondent. He said that these were the beginnings of forming a great side in the town and that it was early days for a sport, which is relatively new to the area.
