Appeal for witnesses following two vehicle RTC in Carmarthenshire

Carmarthenshire Roads Policing Unit is investigating a serious two vehicle RTC that occurred on the B4302 Llandeilo to Talley road, at approximately 9am this morning (Sunday May 27). The vehicles were a black Suzuki Grand Vitara and a blue Nissan Juke.

The elderly male driver of the Suzuki Grand Vitara sustained serious injuries, and was conveyed by air ambulance to the Heath hospital in Cardiff where he remains in a serious condition.

Tegan Miles is from the Burry Port area and was last seen during the evening of Friday (May 25).

She frequents Carmarthen / Lampeter and will use the train service.

Police investigate property burglary at North Dock

DYFED-Powys Police is investigating a burglary in Llanelli, in which jewellery and a high quantity of money were stolen.

A property at Cwrt Clara Novello was broken into between 10am and 1.30pm on Monday, May 21.

A number of items of jewellery have been stolen, along with US dollars worth around $2,000.

Anyone with information that could assist police in their investigation is asked to call 101, quoting reference DPP/0045/21/05/2018/01/C.

Man airlifted to hospital following ‘public disorder’ incident on New Dock Rd

A public disorder occurred in the vicinity of New Dock Road and Stanley Street area this afternoon, Sunday (May 20), which resulted in a man being injured and airlifted to hospital. He is currently in a stable condition.

The incident happened at around 3.20pm. Police received a report of a group of men fighting.

Police appeal following £5k of damage to solar panels at CK’s

DYFED-Powys Police is investigating criminal damage to solar panels at CK’s supermarket, Llanelli, expected to cost £5000 to fix.

The panels were smashed sometime between 5pm on Tuesday (May 15) and 1pm on Wednesday (May 16).

A 17-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure in Llanelli.

DYFED-Powys Police are looking for 57-year-old Colin Jones, who is missing from Bridgend, South Wales.

The last sighting of Mr Jones’ car was on the A4069, Upper Brynamman at around 4.30pm on Tuesday, May 15.

UPDATE: An 18-year-old man has been charged with robbery following the theft of a 76-year-old woman’s purse in Llanelli.

Jonathan Levi Edwards will appear before Llanelli Magistrates’ Courts this afternoon (16/5).
