No extension on hospital consultation

THERE will not be an extension on the consultation process, which will determine the future for the hospitals in West Wales.

The announcement was made via an email to County Councillor John Prosser who had requested an extension citing the main reason as not having had enough paper consultation documents available.

Chair of SOSPPAN asks for extension on Hospital Consultation Period

The Chairperson of the SOSPPAN Group Cllr Louvain Roberts has called on the Hywel Dda University Health Board to extend the consultation period on the proposals for hospitals in West Wales.

Cllr Roberts said that she had made the request because of what she claims has been a shortage of questionaires.

Health board apology after new-born dies in Glangwili Hospital

HYWEL Dda University Health Board has given an apology about the care and treatment given to a mother and her late son at Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen.
