Police investigate ‘alleged’ sexual assault on Cefn Sidan beach

DYFED-Powys Police is investigating a sexual assault that happened on Cefn Sidan beach in Pembrey on Tuesday, June 12 between 2-3pm.

A man approached a woman who was sunbathing and inappropriately touched her.

He was unknown to the victim and is described as being in his late forties, early fifties, around 5 foot 11inches tall, thin arms and legs with a pot belly. His hair was a mix of light and dark grey.

Beach Warriors event takes over the sands of Cefn Sidan

OVER 500 runners took part in the Beach Warriors 5-mile challenge on Sunday (May 13) on the sands of Cefn Sidan beach.

With the sun shining and blue skies children and adults of all ages enjoyed taking part in the races.

Sea Dash to attract thousands of people this Boxing Day

The annual Pembrey Country Park Walrus Dip draws crowds in fancy dress from across Carmarthenshire and all in aid of charity.

Now in its 32nd year, previous events have seen Santas and Sumo wrestlers and all kinds of fancy dressers including Pantomime dames and even bikini beauties and brave mankini clad hulks making a dash for the freezing waves.
