A Llansamlet car dealership is fighting to stay in business tonight, Tuesday (Sep 25) following an attack by vandals earlier this month which has left the company with over £12,000 to pay out for repairs.
JC Vehicles in the Llansamlet area of Swansea have fallen victim to a horrific act of vandalism which has left half of their stock unfit for sale. As a result of the incident windscreens and windows have been left shattered with bodywork also considerably damaged.
As the firm is only a small and family run business there are significant concerns over how they will continue to fund and trade, whalready have been unable to do for two weeks.
Following this attack there have been questions over a lack of police presence in the area as a spokeswoman for South Wales police today (Sep 25) released the following statement:
“Police in Swansea are investigating after a number of vehicles were vandalised at JC Vehicle Sales on Trallwn Road, Llansamlet earlier this month.
“Three men were captured on CCTV entering the premises at approximately 10.30pm, before causing extensive damage to around 20 vehicles.
“Enquiries are ongoing to identify the suspects, and anyone with any information about the incident, or who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the offence, should contact 101, quoting occurrence 1800343800.”
