Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses or information following an assault in Carmarthen.

A male taxi driver was assaulted by a man who had booked the taxi from The Dairies Sports and Social Club on Water Street.

The suspect had a golden coloured medium sized dog, and punched the victim to the face and chest when he was not allowed to take the dog in the taxi.

The incident took place  at 5.30pm on November 3.
